As an additional accolade, Environmental Protection, Inc. has been added to Anbar Electronic Intelligence Civil Engineering Cool Sites as the June Environmental Engineering Cool Site.

A lot of environmental protection work consists of making sure contaminants do not come into contact with ground water or vice versa. This is quite often done by laying PVC geomembrane liners, a typical example of this being the lining of refuse dumping sites. Environmental Protection Inc.'s (EPI) web site gives ample information on its PVC and UltraTech geomembrane liners which it manufactures and installs (it also manufactures related geosynthetic materials). The site provides clear and useful information via links to: services; products; technical information; case studies and a search facility. Details of a new specification file on CD-ROM are also given as well as information on welding, testing and quality control of its products. A useful, clear and straightforwardly informative site, it earns three stars.
