Birchwood Farms Golf Community

Problem:

A clay lined irrigation lake in the midst of a residential golf development doesn't hold water.

Solution:

A PVC geomembrane liner fabricated and installed by EPI.  The Birchwood Farms Golf community had struggled for several years with a stubborn pond that would not hold enough water in dry periods.

Carter Enterprises contracted with EPI to provide and install a 30 mil PVC geomembrane liner in the pond that was built in the 1980's.  The 2.5 acre pond near Harbor Springs, MI was re-graded and prepared for the liner.  Now the nearby residents enjoy the beauty of water in this northern Michigan resort community.
