The Homestead Resort Waterfall Feature
Problem:
How to build a waterfall and lake in the sandy soil at a golf resort on the shores of Lake Michigan.
Solution:
The Homestead Resort was faced with this problem back in 1990. They decided to excavate and shape the waterfall and lake, and add 30 mil PVC geomembrane liner from EPI.

PVC panels were custom fabricated by EPI to fit the pond and the waterfall and reflecting pools along its route. Two 750 gal/min. pumps were installed to circulate the water from the pond to two areas near the top of the waterfall. Stones were carefully placed on a sand cushion which covered the PVC liner. The addition of the sound of flowing water to the already picturesque site as helped make this a premier destination resort.
